Well when we think of Easter of course we recognize Christ and Christianity, but for the holiday it is all about the Easter outfits. Of course for the guys a nice suit and women of course the new spring outfit with a new pair of shoes to go with it. Last minute Gifts
For all of you who waited till the last minute or had some emergency come up in your life to cause you to not have a gift by now, I will try to help.
First, you have to at least get a card! Even a flower or two wouldn't hurt.
Inside the card you write how you are sorry for only having a card but that the rest is coming. Say that you wish you could have done more but that with the - economy, your emergency, busy at work, problem at work,- you get the idea,- Insert your situation. Trust me your humble honesty will go a LONG way. But make sure that you follow through with the rest of the present. In this case if you say your sorry and explain the reason you ordered late, they WILL understand, and the saying better late than never, WILL work.
In order to help those of you who couldn't order till the last minute, I will be leaving the Valentine's theme and all the advertisers listed on this page for a couple weeks after valentine's day.

Well they aren't cheap but if you can swing it, here they are, the ultimate ideas. There are companies out there that offer hot air balloon rides(this one I have done), fighter plane flights, also skydiving and other such exhilarating activities. If that's not your speed perhaps a trip to Paris, Alaska, or other destination, and of course the ultimate gift,- a cruise to the Caribbean or anywhere for that matter. Let's face it, they aren't cheap, but they are worth it. If you can afford it. And let's face it, these will gain you bonus points with your mate for years.

Sentimental Gift Idea
Most people reading this have a camera of some sort, still, video, or even one on your cell phone. Also most of you have the ability to make pictures or DVD's.
Well here is what you do, - Go by a place where you and your mate had a special time or special memory and take pictures or video and make a dvd or picture disc or even just the pictures will do. Then put them in with the card or send them to their cell phone or computer on Valentine's Day to show them that you remember that special time.
To you Guys especially, girls and women love that kind of stuff. Don't believe me. Remember the last time she brought up a special time and you didn't remember, yeah how upset was she? Well that's the level of happiness she will express to you because you took the time to remember this time.

Romantic Way to Give a Gift
If you are giving your special someone a necklace or a bracelet, try finding a stuffed animal of the right size that the item will fit on.
Example - Just imagine, at first you give her a teddy bear and she thinks, oh how sweet, but then watch her reaction when she sees that the bear is wearing a pretty new necklace around it's neck. Get the idea? That's a lot more romantic than just handing them a gift in a box.

Where has the romance gone?
I know that in the busy world that we live in today and especially with the down economy we are all stressed and busy working just to pay the bills. But since valentines day is on the weekend this year everybody should take advantage to do something relaxing and fun with your special someone.
Example - If you live in a mountainous area pack a lunch and drive to the top of a mt. where there is a great view and have lunch there, or if there is a lake or a beautiful park nearby go there.
Or if there is a sport that you both like, disc golf, fishing, hiking, surfing, bodyboarding, heck even snow sledding, nobody is too old for that, and all the things I mentioned are FREE. Not to mention that doing physical things will make you both feel young again and get the blood flowing, if you know what I mean.
So please do both yourselves a favor and take advantage of valentines day being on the weekend and SPEND THE TIME TOGETHER!

Choosing a Valentine card
Okay everybody if you haven't at least started to look at a few cards, SHAME on you, now get out there and start looking, because you know all the good ones go early.
Okay ladies I know most guys don't care what the card says but there are exceptions so don't make the mistake and just pick one that just says something sweet, put some time into it and choose one that says something relevant to your relationship or speaks in a way that you would.
Okay guys I'm not letting you off the hook, ESPECIALLY YOU GUYS need to take your time and choose your card carefully because ALL women read the cards! Got it!

Something Special you can do for FREE
Here is a little something special that you can do for FREE.
If you go to You Tube and search a particular song you can copy and paste the URL into your email as a link. Just write a few sweet words create the link and send that in an email. Here is an example of doing that CLICK HERE.
If you've never created a link it is easy, here is how you do it - Type what you want to say then also type the word or words you want the person to click to send them to the video.(in my example above I just used the words click here in capital letters, of course you can use any words you want). Now open another tab, search for your song, when you have it on your screen playing just go to the top of the page and you will see the http://address, set your arrow cursor to the far right, now hold the left click button down and move left over the address to highlight the whole address including the http part, then release the button, now put your cursor on the highlighted text, right click, choose copy. Now go back to your email, highlight the text you want the link you just copied, to connect to, then find the icon that looks like a chain link, left click on that, put your cursor in the box asking you what you want to link to, then right click, choose paste, then save or ok and that's it. It will look similar or just like my example above.

Buy a cute small stuffed animal and 1 red rose and of course a card. try to find an animal that has crossed arms or hands of some sort so that the animal can hold your rose, or you can use some wide red, purple or your mates favorite color ribbon to tie a bow around the animal to hold the rose. It is possible to get a nice sized animal and still keep your cost under $5.00.
If you really want to do the dozen of roses thing I also have a money saving way and a unique way (so you can be different).
Some times you can find a good bunch of roses at the local grocery store cheap(just wrapped not in a vase) it is cheaper that way, if you want a great vase on the cheap, go get that at the thrift store. Most all thrift stores have HUGE selections of vases for pennies on the dollar.
For the unique you might have to go to the florist. Instead of the usual all red roses there are quite a few colors to choose from such as purple, peach, pink, blue, white and several other colors. If you choose some of the other colors I suggest putting at least 1 red rose right in the middle. That way you cover all bases, you can say that all the different pretty colors are to signify all the different experiences you two have had over the years OR that out of all the pretty flowers in the world you are the one red rose at the center of my life.
